Greensborough P.S. is a "Living School", one of 35 schools in the province that are part of a pilot project with Ophea. It is a community-driven effort to inspire and support our school to become an environment that promotes active healthy living for children and youth. Members of the school community have come together -students, parents, school staff, recreational organizations, health professionals and businesses - to develop programs and policies that increase access to and opportunities for, active healthy living. These opportunities include the sharing of community facilities and resources, health and physical education, nourishment programs, recreational activities, coordinated community events, and school-run events.
Greensborough also has a before and after school program.
